PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door knob for opening/closing a door by a pedestrian's foot, on which he/she is prevented from snagging his/her clothing.SOLUTION: A semispherical door knob with a radius of 3 cm, which assumes a shape preventing a pedestrian from getting caught therein and enabling him/her to open a door by his/her sole, is installed in an upper part (in which the center of a sphere serves as an axis) higher by 6 cm than a floor surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
