PORE-FORMING MATERIAL FOR CERAMIC COMPOSITION AND USE THEREOF
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pore-forming material for a ceramic composition which allows a ceramic structure having excellent dimensional stability and high porosity to be produced, and to provide a use thereof.SOLUTION: The pore-forming material for a ceramic composition according to the present invention essentially contains hollow particles (A). Each of the hollow particles (A) is an expanded body of a thermally expandable microsphere composed of an outer shell that is made of a thermoplastic resin and a foaming agent that is encapsulated in the outer shell and is vaporized by heating. The volume ratio (P) of the amount of air contained in the hollow particles (A) is 30% or more when the whole volume of the hollow particles (A) is 100%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 本発明の目的は、寸法安定性に優れ、かつ気孔率の高いセラミック構造物の製造が可能なセラミック組成物用造孔材およびその用途を提供することである。【解決手段】本発明のセラミック組成物用造孔材は、中空粒子(A)を必須とし、前記中空粒子(A)が、熱可塑性樹脂からなる外殻と、それに内包され且つ加熱することによって気化する発泡剤とから構成される熱膨張性微小球の膨張体であり、前記中空粒子(A)に含まれる空気量の体積割合(P)が、前記中空粒子(A)全体の体積を100%としたとき、30%以上である。【選択図】 図1
