PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric material that is free of lead and realizes both good piezoelectric performance and good processability.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric material of a piezoelectric material part 2 comprises: a main ingredient consisting of a perovskite metal oxide represented by the general formula (1) defined by (BaCaBi)(TiZrFe)O, where 0.030≤x≤0.300, 0.004≤y≤0.018, 0.004≤y'≤0.015, 0.010≤z≤0.090, 0.950≤y/y'≤1.200, and 0.986≤a≤1.020; and a first accessory ingredient consisting of Mn. The content of the first accessory ingredient is 0.04 pts.wt. or more and 0.36 pts.wt. or less in terms of metals based on 100 pts.wt. of the metal oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
