MULTI-LAYERED GLASS BODY AND FITTING
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layered glass having three or more layers that prevents circulation of flame and heat inside and outside of a building due to a partial damage of an intermediate layer of the glass or displacement of the multi-layered glass caused by thermal expansion of a heat foaming material.SOLUTION: A vertically projecting window includes a sash 8 fitted in a frame body 6. A triple-glazed multi-layered glass 13 fitted in a stile body 12 of the sash 8 includes an outdoor-side glass 30 reinforced by a wire net, an intermediate glass 31 with a smallest thickness, and an indoor-side glass 32, with a spacer 33 in between. Top and bottom edge parts of the multi-layered glass 13 is covered by a grating channel 35, and a support metal fitting 36b is provided on outside thereof, for fitting the multi-layered glass to a top rail 9 and a bottom rail. A first heat foaming material 38a is fixed on the support metal fitting 36b of the top rail 9 at a position opposite an edge part of the intermediate glass 31, and a second heat foaming material 39a at a position on the support metal fitting of the top rail opposite the outdoor-side glass 30. No heat foaming material is provided near the indoor-side glass 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】三層以上の複層ガラスにおいて、加熱発泡材の熱膨張によって、中間ガラスが部分的に破損したり、複層ガラスがずれたり外れたりして火炎や熱が屋内外を流通することを防止する。【解決手段】縦辷り出し窓は、枠体6内に障子8を納めた。障子8の框体12に設けたトリプルガラスの複層ガラス13はスペーサ33を介して、網入りの屋外側ガラス30と、最も厚みの小さい中間ガラス31と、屋内側ガラス32とを配列した。複層ガラス13の上下端部をグレージングチャンネル35で覆い、その外側に支持金具36bを設けて上框9と下框に取り付けた。上框9の支持金具36bにおいて、中間ガラス31の端部に対向する位置に第一加熱発泡材38aを固定し、屋外側ガラス30に対向する位置に第二加熱発泡材39aを固定した。屋内側ガラス32の近傍には加熱発泡材を設けない。【選択図】図3
