PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a membrane ceiling that is widely applicable and can improve workability in construction while suppressing an increase in cost.SOLUTION: A construction method comprises: a substrate construction step of constructing a substrate 15 including a frame-shaped part 14 arranged in a frame shape on a skeleton side; a temporary jig fitting step of fitting a temporary jig 68 to the substrate 15 across an inner range encircled with the frame-shaped part 14; a sheet material supporting step of making the temporary jig 68 support a sheet material 70; a sheet material fitting step of fitting the sheet material 70 having been supported by the temporary jig 68 to the frame-shaped part 14; and a temporary jig removing step of detaching the temporary jig 68 from the substrate 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
