GUARD POST
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessive bending stress, shear stress and others from acting on a base of a guard post by reducing a bending moment that acts on the base of the guard post.SOLUTION: A guard post (1) comprises: a base tube (2), which intersects with a parapet section (W) of an architectural structure (A) and substantially extends in a horizontal direction; a brace (3), which extends upward from the base tube; and a mooring tools (4, 5), which hold the parapet section between them in order to fix the base tube to the parapet section. The base tube is disposed on a top face of the parapet section. Supporting points (F) that support the base tube are formed by contact pressure between the parapet section and an abutting part of the mooring tool. A junction between the brace and the base tube is disposed at a region immediately above the parapet section. The brace is connected to the base tube so that a part extended from a center line (CL) of the brace passes through a region between supporting points.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ガードポストの基部に作用する曲げモーメントを軽減し、過大な曲げ応力、剪断応力等がガードポストの基部に作用するのを防止する。【解決手段】ガードポスト(1)は、建築物(A)のパラペット部分(W)と直交し且つ実質的に水平な方向に延びる基部管(2)と、基部管から上方に延びる支柱(3)と、基部管をパラペット部分に固定すべくパラペット部分を挟持する係留具(4,5)とを有する。基部管は、パラペット部分の上面に配置される。基部管を支持する支点(F)が、パラペット部分と係留具の当接部との接触圧により形成される。支柱と基部管との接合部が、パラペット部分の直上領域に配置される。支柱は、その中心線(CL)の延長部分が支点間の領域を通るように基部管に接合される。【選択図】図1
