PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disallow the operation load of operation means to be placed directly on a gear of an initial stage of speed increasing means, with simple constitution.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an electricity generator for door that comprises a buffer device between a press body rotating with operation force of operation means and speed increasing means including a plurality of gears for increasing the rotating speed of a rotary shaft of an electricity generator. The buffer device includes: a rack member which slides toward a tip part with pressing force of the press body and engages with a gear of an initial stage of speed increasing means; a first elastic body which is arranged on a rear end part side of the rack member; and a second elastic body which is arranged on a tip end part side of the rack member. The first elastic body buffers an abrupt operation load from the operation means once receiving the operation load so as to disallow the operation load to be placed directly on the gear of the initial stage of the speed increasing means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
