POROUS SUPPORT-ZEOLITE MEMBRANE COMPLEX AND SEPARATION METHOD USING THE SAME
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous support-zeolite membrane complex having both of practically-sufficient throughput and separation performance in separation and concentration by an inorganic material separation membrane and to provide a separation and concentration method using the zeolite membrane complex.SOLUTION: In a porous support-zeolite membrane complex obtained by forming a zeolite membrane on a porous support, average thickness of the porous support is 0.1 mm or more and 7 mm or less and an index expressing pore distribution of the support is 40 or less, where the index is obtained by measuring the pore distribution by a mercury penetration method and calculated by using a general formula (1): (D-D)/D(in the formula, D, D, and Drespectively are a pore diameter when the total amount of pore volume integrated from large pores is 5% of the total pore volume, the pore diameter when the total amount is 50% of the total pore volume, and the pore diameter when the total amount is 95% of the total pore volume).SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】無機材料分離膜による分離、濃縮において、実用上十分な処理量と分離性能を両立する多孔質支持体−ゼオライト膜複合体、該ゼオライト膜複合体を用いた分離、濃縮方法を提供する。【解決手段】多孔質支持体上にゼオライト膜を形成してなる多孔質支持体—ゼオライト膜複合体であって、該多孔質支持体の平均厚さが0.1mm以上7mm以下であり、かつ水銀圧入法による細孔分布測定により求められ、下記式(1): (D5−D95)/D50(1)(式中、D5、D50およびD95は、それぞれ、大きい細孔から積算した細孔容積の合計量が、全細孔容積の5%になるときの細孔径、全細孔容積の50%になるときの細孔径および全細孔容積の95%になるときの細孔径を示す。)により算出される、支持体の細孔分布を表す指標が40以下であることを特徴とする多孔質支持体−ゼオライト膜複合体。【選択図】 なし
