VACUUM CONSOLIDATION METHOD AND VACUUM CONSOLIDATION SYSTEM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum consolidation method and a vacuum consolidation system, which enable a sufficient consolidation improvement effect to be obtained when vacuum consolidation improvement is performed for ground having a surface layer part provided with of a mutual layer of sand and clay.SOLUTION: In a vacuum consolidation method, when ground improvement is performed for ground G where a mutual layer of sand and clay exists in a surface layer part, a drain material 11 having an airtight cap 12 provided at an upper end is driven into the ground from a ground surface S; a low-permeability soil layer 40 is constructed in the ground surface S; and water is supplied into the ground from a lower part of the low-permeability soil layer so that a groundwater level of the ground can be higher than the airtight cap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】表層部に砂と粘土との相互層がある地盤について真空圧密改良を実施する際に充分な圧密改良効果を得ることができる真空圧密工法・システムを提供する。【解決手段】この真空圧密工法は、表層部に砂と粘土との交互層が存在する地盤Gに対する地盤改良を実施する際に、上端に気密性キャップ12を有するドレーン材11を地表面Sから地盤へ打設し、地表面Sに低透水土層40を構築し、低透水土層の下部から地盤内へ水を地盤の地下水位が気密性キャップよりも上になるように供給する。【選択図】図1
