CURVE CREATION DEVICE, CURVE CREATION PROGRAM, AND CURVE CREATION METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a smooth clothoid curve.SOLUTION: The curve creation device first extracts, as three-point combinations, a plurality of three curve creation points that are continuously aligned from a curve creation point sequence as a collection of the multiple curve creation points that are aligned along the moving direction when a mobile body moves on a road and represent a shape along the moving direction of the road(S160 and S190). Then, the curve creation device calculates radii of the road at a starting point and an end point of each of the extracted multiple three-point combinations, as a starting radius and an end radius respectively (S170 and S190). The curve creation device creates, for each of the multiple three-point combinations, a clothoid curve that is the starting radius at the start point and the end radius at the end point and in which, as it moves along the moving direction from the start point to the end point, a reciprocal number of the radium linearly changes from a reciprocal number of the starting radius towards a reciprocal number of the end radius (S180 and S190).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】滑らかなクロソイド曲線を作成する【解決手段】曲線作成装置は、まず、道路上を移動体が移動するときの移動方向に沿って複数配列されて道路の移動方向に沿った形状を示す曲線作成点の集合である曲線作成点列から、移動方向に沿って連続して配列されている3個の曲線作成点を三点組合せとして複数抽出する(S160,S190)。次に曲線作成装置は、抽出された複数の三点組合せのそれぞれについて、始点および終点における道路の半径をそれぞれ開始半径および終了半径として算出する(S170,S190)。そして曲線作成装置は、複数の三点組合せのそれぞれについて、始点において開始半径となるとともに終点において終了半径となり、且つ、始点から終点へ向かって移動方向に沿って移動するにつれて半径の逆数が開始半径の逆数から終了半径の逆数に向かって線形に変化するクロソイド曲線を作成する(S180,S190)。【選択図】図3
