PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinged door water gate that permits a ship to pass at the normal time and securely block rising water regardless of the existence of sediment deposited on a river bed at the time of a tsunami or flood.SOLUTION: A hinged door water gate has a structure including: a door 8 attached at a position higher than a predicted height of sediment to be deposited in order to prevent the door's rotation in the closing direction from being disturbed because a door's bottom edge 9 is in contact with sediment 7 deposited on a river bed 6; and an erecting long plate 13 that is installed so as to horizontally lie on the river bed 6 and has a length equal to the water gate's width. Blocking is performed by rotating the erecting long plate by about 90° around its support shaft 18 as a fulcrum to raise a sill part 14 on one side of the erecting long plate so that the sill part is butted by the door's bottom edge 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】平時では船舶の航行を可能にし、津波、洪水時には河底に堆積する土砂の有無にかかわらず、確実に増水を閉塞できる開き扉の水門を提供する。【解決手段】開き扉の水門の構造において扉8を閉じる方向に回転させるとき扉の下端9が河底6に堆積した土砂7に触れて回転をさまたげられないようにするために、その扉をその土砂堆積の予想される高さより高い位置に取り付け、一方河底6に水平に横たわるように設置した水門の幅と同長の起上り長尺板13を、その支持軸18を支点として約90°回転してその起上り長尺板の片側の敷居部14を上に持上げて、これに扉の下端9を突当てるようにして閉塞する。【選択図】図1
