LAMINATE STRUCTURE FABRICATED USING CHEMICAL VAPOR INFILTRATION (CVI)
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic matrix composite (CMC) with a laminate structure fabricated using chemical vapor infiltration (CVI).SOLUTION: A preform can be subject to chemical vapor infiltration (CVI) to define a ceramic matrix composite (CMC) structure, a supplemental preform can be added to the CMC structure to define an expanded structure, and CVI can be performed using the expanded structure. Adding a supplemental preform and performing CVI using the expanded structure are repeated to fabricate a laminate structure.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】化学気相含浸法(CVI)を用いて製作した積層構造を有するセラミック基複合材料(CMC)の提供。【解決手段】プリフォームを化学気相含浸法(CVI)に付してセラミック基複合材料(CMC)構造を画成し、追加のプリフォームをCMC構造に付加して拡張構造を画成し、拡張構造を用いてCVIを実施することができ、更に、追加のプリフォームの付加及び拡張構造を用いるCVIの実施を繰り返すことにより製作された積層構造。【選択図】なし
