PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand compaction pile method capable of reducing amount of surplus soil generated in construction.SOLUTION: In a sand compaction pile method in which foundation is improved by developing a sand compaction pile containing steel slag as use material underground, surplus soil generated when developing the sand compaction pile and steel slag as use material of the sand compaction pile are mixed at a predetermined ratio to manufacture a mixed material. 【課題】施工に伴って発生する残土量を低減することができるサンドコンパクションパイル工法を提供する。【解決手段】鉄鋼スラグを使用材料として含むサンドコンパクションパイルを地中に造成して地盤を改良するサンドコンパクションパイル工法において、サンドコンパクションパイルの造成に伴って発生する残土と、サンドコンパクションパイルの使用材料である鉄鋼スラグとを所定の割合で混合して混合材料を製造し、この混合材料をサンドコンパクションパイルの使用材料として再利用する。【選択図】図１
