METALLIC HANDLE FOR SHOVEL OR SCOOP, AND SHOVEL OR SCOOP PROVIDED WITH THE SAME
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic handle of a shovel or a scoop, along with a shovel or a scoop provided with the same, the metallic handle having a bent piece forming a tip part of the metallic handle having a structure that inhibits buckling, and the bent piece being capable of readily forming the roughly truncated cone shape.SOLUTION: A metallic handle is of a cylindrical form and is connected and fixed to a scoop part of a shovel or a scoop. A tip part of the metallic handle is formed by a pair of bent pieces formed in a roughly elliptical frustum shape. Each of the pair of bent pieces is formed to be a roughly trapezoidal form when seen from sideways, having a curved side surface and a flat edge formed at a top edge of the curved side surface. A bending margin is formed at a bottom part of the bent piece, by piercing in a wedge form from both sides of the bottom part inward in a circumferential direction. Each of the pair of bent pieces is bent toward an axial center so that both edges of the bottom part comes in contact with a bottom edge of the bent piece, thus forming the tip part in a roughly elliptical frustum shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
【課題】ショベル又はスコップの金属製柄の先端部を形成する折曲片を座屈し難い構造とすると共に、前記折曲片が前記略円錐台形状を容易に形成することのできるショベル又はスコップの金属製柄及びそれを備えるショベル又はスコップを提供する。【解決手段】ショベル又はスコップの掬い部に接続され固定される円筒形状の金属製柄であって、前記金属製柄の先端部は略楕円推台形状に形成される一対の折曲片から形成されてなると共に、前記一対の折曲片は、夫々、湾曲状に形成される湾曲側面と、前記湾曲側面の上端に形成される平坦縁とを有する側面視略台形状に形成され、前記折曲片の底部には前記底部両側から周方向内方に向けて楔状に穿設される折曲代を形成してなり、前記一対の折曲片を、それぞれ軸心方向に向けて、前記底部両端縁が前記折曲代の底縁に当接するまで折曲し、前記先端部を略楕円推台形状に形成した。【選択図】 図９
