PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article for removing COwhich is cordierite-made flow-through type substrate and capable of desorbing CO2 at low temperature.SOLUTION: There is provided an article containing a flow-through type substrate having an open passage constructed by a porous wall and containing alumina and COabsorber which is arranged on the flow-through type substrate and inserted into the porous wall of the flow-through type substrate. There is provided an article, where the porous wall of the flow-through type substrate has 50% of porosity and surface area of over 200 m/g. There is provided an article, where the alumina is gamma alumina, or active alumina (containing a transition layer of alumina but no alpha alumina) or a combination thereof and the COabsorber contains polyethylene imine. A method for removing COfrom gas is a method having a process for contacting gas containing COwith the article at a temperature up to 40°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】コージエライト製フロースルー型基体で、低温でCO2を脱着することができCO2除去用物品の提供。【解決手段】多孔質壁により画成された開放通路を有する、アルミナを含むフロースルー型基体、及びこのフロースルー型基体上に配置された、当該フロースルー型基体の多孔質壁に入り込んでいるCO2収着剤を含む、物品。前記フロースルー型基体の多孔質壁が少なくとも50%の気孔率を有し、200m2/g超の表面積を有する物品。前記アルミナがガンマアルミナ、又は活性アルミナ(アルミナの遷移層は含むがアルファアルミナは含まない)もしくはその組合せであり、前記CO2収着剤がポリエチレンイミンを含む物品。気体からCO2を除去する方法はCO2を含む気体と40℃迄の温度で前記物品と接触させる工程を有する方法。【選択図】図1
