ENERGY SAVING DEVICE FOR ROOM OF LODGING FACILITY
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to convenience to a lodger and energy saving.SOLUTION: An energy saving device for a room of lodging facilities comprises: a lock provided to a door of a room where a lodger stays; a controller for the lock; a controller for the room which turns on/off a use start switch for supplying electric power to electric equipment disposed in the room, and connects with the controller for the lock by a cable wire or by radio; and a hand-held communication terminal capable of performing energy-saving short-range communication with the controller for the room, the controller for the room controlling the use start switch into an "on" state on condition that the communication terminal is at least present in the room and short-range communication is established between the communication terminal and controller for the room.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
