PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial shoal or a dry beach of using dredge soil as an infilling material, that is, the artificial shoal or the dry beach for providing the wide dry beach area, providing high wave stability of a covering sand layer even if a covering sand material of a coarse grain size is not particularly used, and capable of also restraining reduction in the dry beach area even if consolidation settlement is caused in the infilling material (the dredge soil) over a long period.SOLUTION: A reinforcement soil layer B of a predetermined width for reinforcing a submerged bank A by contacting with its side surface, is provided on the shore side of the submerged bank A, and this reinforcement soil layer B is constituted of reinforcement soil of mixing a modifier for causing hydration reaction in dredge soil and/or sediment, and has a gradient of becoming high in a surface layer toward the shore side. Since the reinforcement soil layer B having this gradient fulfills the earth retaining function, even if a top end height of the submerged bank A is the same as a conventional structure, a top end of an infilling layer C can be heightened (raised in a level), and since a gradient of a covering sand layer becomes gentle thereby, the wide dry beach area can be secured, and high wave stability of the covering sand layer is provided even if a covering sand material of a coarse grain size is not particularly used, and reduction in the dry beach area can be further restrained even if settlement is caused in the infilling material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】中詰材として浚渫土を用いる人工浅場又は干潟であって、広い干潟面積が得られるともに、特に粗い粒度の覆砂材を用いなくても覆砂層の高い波浪安定性が得られ、さらに、長期的に中詰材(浚渫土)に圧密沈下が発生しても、干潟面積の減少を抑えることができる人工浅場又は干潟を提供する。【解決手段】潜堤Aの岸側に、その側面に接して潜堤Aを補強する所定幅の補強土層Bが設けられ、この補強土層Bは、浚渫土及び/又は土砂に水和反応を生じさせる改質材を混合した補強土で構成されるとともに、表層が岸側に向かって高くなる勾配を有する。この勾配を有する補強土層Bが土留め機能を果たすため、潜堤Aの天端高が従来構造と同じであっても、中詰層Cの天端を高くする(嵩上げする)ことができ、これにより覆砂層の勾配が緩くなるため広い干潟面積を確保できるとともに、特に粗い粒度の覆砂材を用いなくても覆砂層の高い波浪安定性が得られ、さらに、中詰材に沈下が生じても干潟面積の減少を抑えることができる。【選択図】図1
