FLUID HEATING COMPONENT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid heating component for use in heating fluid flowing in it.SOLUTION: A honeycomb structure 1 comprises a cell structure part 8 having a plurality of cells becoming flow passages for fluid passing from one end part toward the other end part that are defined and formed by partition walls 4 containing ceramics, and outer peripheral walls 7 arranged at the outer peripheries of the cell structure part 8 to form an interference part against an external area. Heating bodies 10 have a shape enclosing the outer peripheral walls 7 of the honeycomb structure 1, arranged outside under a state in which either cushioning materials or insulating materials are arranged between them or a state in which clearances are arranged between them so as to heat fluid flowing inside the honeycomb structure 1 from outside of the honeycomb structure 1. Then, the honeycomb structure 1 has a porosity of 20% or less and transmits heat of the heating bodies 10 to the fluid flowing in it without generating heat by itself.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
【課題】内部を流通する流体を加熱するための流体加熱部品を提供する。【解決手段】ハニカム構造体1は、セラミックスを含む隔壁4によって、一方の端部から他方の端部に貫通する流体の流路となる複数のセルが区画形成されたセル構造部8と、セル構造部8の外周に設けられ、外部との境界を形成する外周壁7と、を備える。加熱体10は、ハニカム構造体1の外周壁7を取り囲む形状であり、その間に緩衝材もしくは絶縁材を配置した状態で、または空隙を設けた状態で外部に配置され、ハニカム構造体1の外部からハニカム構造体1の内部を流通する流体を加熱する。そして、ハニカム構造体1は、気孔率が20%以下であり、自身が発熱することなく、加熱体10の熱を内部を流通する流体に伝導する。【選択図】図1A
