PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mortar coating thickness guide capable of definitely keeping itself installed on a lath net even if a coating trowel contacts the guide when coating the mortar.SOLUTION: A mortar coating thickness guide comprises: a tabular elastic deformation part 1, which has a pair of substrates 16, whose one ends butt a mortar backing surface so as to face each other, and a connection plate part 18 that connects to the other ends of the pair of substrates; and a concavity 14, which is fit into a mesh of the lath net formed on both side faces in a width direction perpendicular to the longer direction of the elastic deformation part at both end sides in the longer direction of the elastic deformation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
