DRYING DEVICE AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR BENTONITE MOLDED BODY AND BENTONITE MOLDED BODY
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying device for a bentonite molded body that can increase drying capacity, and to provide a bentonite molded body production method and a bentonite molded body.SOLUTION: A drying device 100, which is used when a high-density, substantially spherical bentonite molded body is produced by adding water to a bentonite powder and kneading them, and drying and shrinking wet pellets prepared by rounding the kneaded material into a substantially spherical shape, includes at least one rotating annular body 14 having two or more circular annular frames 12 supported by two wheels 10. Six or seven hexagonal cylindrical containers 16, into which pellets P to be dried are charged, are incorporated in axially parallel inside the rotating annular body 14. Lids 34, 36 allowing ventilation are provided on an air inlet side A and an air discharge side B at both axial ends of the hexagonal cylindrical containers 16 to send dried air from the air inlet side A of the hexagonal cylindrical containers 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1-4
