PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolving upper machinery of a construction machine that allows a terminal box to be arranged while suppressing a decline in a degree of freedom of equipment layout.SOLUTION: A revolving upper machinery 3 includes: a bottom plate 21 fitted rotatably on a lower machinery; a support frame 22A erected on the bottom plate 21; an engine 14 supported on the bottom plate 21 by the support frame 22A; a generator-motor 15 connected to the engine 14; and a terminal box 18 having a terminal electrically connected to the generator-motor 15 and enabling cable connection, and a box body housing the terminal and fitted to the generator-motor 15. The generator-motor 15 includes an opposite part 15a opposite the bottom plate 21 at a location outside of the support frame 22A, when seen in a planar view. The terminal box 18 is located between the opposite part 15a of the generator-motor 15 and the bottom plate 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
