JOINT PART WATER CUTOFF METHOD OF IMPERVIOUS WALL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint part water cutoff method of an impervious wall, easy in coping with a case that a hindrance is caused in water cutoff performance of a joint part after installing a sheet pile, and capable of inexpensively forming a water cutoff structure of high reliability.SOLUTION: After constructing a multiple wall-shaped impervious wall body having wall bodies 5a and 5b formed by mutually adjacently joining a plurality of sheet piles 1, 1, etc. having joint members 4a and 4a in both side end parts, in opposed arrangement with an interval therebetween, a cover member 11 for covering a joint part 4 is installed on the opposed surface side of mutually opposed one wall body 5a by straddling the sheet piles 1 and 1 adjacent at both ends. A timbering body 12 whose one end is supported by the mutually opposed other wall body 5b and whose the other end presses both edges of the cover member 11 against the one wall body 5a, is interposed between both wall bodies 5a and 5b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】矢板設置後の継手部の止水性能に支障が生じた場合の対応が容易で、安価に信頼性の高い止水構造を形成することができる遮水壁の継手部止水方法の提供。【解決手段】両側端部に継手部材4a,4aを有する複数の矢板1,1...を互いに隣り合わせて接合することにより形成される壁体5a,5bを互いに間隔を置いて対向する配置に備えている多重壁状の遮水壁本体を構築した後、両端が隣り合う矢板1,1に跨って継手部4を覆うカバー部材11を互いに対向する一方の壁体5aの対向面側に設置するとともに、一端を互いに対向する他方の壁体5bに支持させ、他端でカバー部材11の両端縁を一方の壁体5aに押し当てる支保工体12を両壁体5a,5b間に介在させる。【選択図】図4
