PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor lighting device which is used in a form of being incorporated in a building material for fence and the like.SOLUTION: In a lighting device, a long hollow building material is cut in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, and the lighting device is stored in the cut surface of the building material and used, and it is constituted by a lighting unit 10 and a metal fitting 20 for fixing. The lighting unit 10 is made of a cylindrical semi-transparent material, it has an outer shape the same as an outer shape of the building material in the center part, a first cylinder part 11 which is a little larger than the outer shape of the building material is formed, and also, a light source 42 is stored in a hollow part. On the other hand, the metal fitting 20 for fixing is constituted by first and second metal fittings 21, 22 which are respectively connected to an upper building material 31 and a lower building material 32 divided by cutting, and a third metal fitting 23 for connecting the first and second metal fittings 21, 22. 【課題】フェンス用の建材等に組み込んだ形で使用される屋外用照明装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の照明装置は、中空の長尺の建材を長手方向と直交する方向に切断し、当該建材の切断面に収容する形で使用されるもので、照明ユニット１０と固定用金具２０とで構成されている。照明ユニット１０は、筒状の半透明の材料で作製され、中央部に、前記建材の外形と同様の外形を有し、建材の外形より若干大きい第１の筒部１１が形成され、かつ中空部に光源４２が収容されている。一方、固定用金具２０は、切断により分割された上部建材３１および下部建材３２にそれぞれ接続される第１および第２の金具２１および２２、ならびに第１および第２の金具２１，２２を連結する第３の金具２３で構成され、下部建材３２に上部建材３１を固定する。【選択図】図３
