PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counterweight device for construction machinery that permits choice of favorable shooting positions for cameras.SOLUTION: A counterweight device is equipped with a counterweight body 30, a counterweight case 40 surrounding its storage space, a camera 50B for shooting images as seen from a higher position than the counterweight case 40 and a camera bracket 60B supporting the camera 50B. The camera bracket 60B is so shaped, while being fixed to the upper face of the counterweight body 30, as to support the camera 50B in a position above the counterweight case 40 and to cause at least part of the camera 50B to be located immediately above the counterweight case 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
