WEED CONTROL SHEET AND WEED CONTROL METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed control sheet which itself can be solidified in few minutes by spraying water on the sheet surface, shows sufficient strength development that can inhibit growth of weeds, and has only a small effect on the pH of the soil, and to provide a weed control method using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a weed control sheet for preventing growth of weeds by laying a non-woven sheet on the ground after removing weeds and spraying water or aqueous polymer emulsion liquid on the sheet to solidify the sheet, the non-woven sheet being formed of organic fiber in which powdered hydraulic material containing calcium aluminate having CaO/AlO(molar ratio) of 1.3-3, gypsum and γ-2CaO SiO-containing material, is dispersed. The weed control sheet is characterized that the powdered hydraulic material contains fine aggregate, and further, is formed by laminating a sheet having water permeability with a permeability coefficient of 1.0×10cm/sec or more on the non-woven sheet having the powdered hydraulic material dispersed. There is also provided a weed control method using the weed control sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】シート表面から水を散布することで、数分でシート自体を固化でき、雑草の成長を阻止できる十分な強度発現性を示し、土壌のpHに与える影響も少ない、防草シート及びそれを用いた防草工法を提供する。【解決手段】シート状の不織布内にCaO/Al2O3(モル比)が1.3〜3のカルシウムアルミネート、セッコウ、およびγ−2CaO・SiO2含有物質を含有する粉末状水硬性材料を分散させた有機繊維でできた不織布シートを、除草後の地面に敷き、水又は水性ポリマーエマルジョン液を該シート上から散布し固化させることで雑草の生育を防止する防草シートであり、粉末状水硬性材料が、細骨材を含有してなる前記防草シートであり、粉末状水硬性材料を分散させた不織布シートに透水係数1.0×10−3cm/sec以上の透水性を有するシートを積層させてなる前記防草シートであり、前記防草シートを用いてなる防草工法、である。【選択図】なし
