ASPHALT MODIFIER AND ASPHALT MIXTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt modified material capable of improving the stability and fluidization resistance of the asphalt mixture while improving the dispersibility into asphalt, and an asphalt mixture containing the same.SOLUTION: Provided is an asphalt modified material including thermoplastic plastics and natural asphalt as the main components, and in which the weight ratio of the natural asphalt to the thermoplastic plastics being 5/95 to 50/50. According to this method, compared with the case where only the thermoplastic plastics are used as an asphalt modified material, the improvement of its dispersibility into asphalt is made possible, and the stability and fluidization resistance of the asphalt mixture can be improved into the qualities required for the pavement of heavy traffic road.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】アスファルトへの分散性の向上を図りつつアスファルト混合物の安定性と流動抵抗性の向上を図ることが可能なアスファルト改質材及びそれを含有するアスファルト混合物の提供を目的とする。【解決手段】本発明に係るアスファルト改質材は、熱可塑性プラスチックと天然アスファルトとを主成分として含み、熱可塑性プラスチックに対する天然アスファルトの重量比が５／９５〜５０／５０となっている。本発明によれば、熱可塑性プラスチックのみをアスファルト改質材として用いる場合と比較して、アスファルトへの分散性を向上させることが可能となり、アスファルト混合物の安定性と流動抵抗性を、重交通道路の舗装に必要とされる品質に、向上させることが可能となる。【選択図】なし
