PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a lock device, information processing method, program, and communication terminal that, in receiving a processing request from a communication terminal, are capable of adaptively determining a right set for each communication terminal, with respect to a function of the lock device.SOLUTION: A lock device comprises: a communication unit that, from a first communication terminal, receives a processing request to the lock device and key information including setting information on the first communication terminal's right with respect to a plurality of types of functions of the lock device and a first public key associated with the first communication terminal; and a determination unit that, on the basis of the key information, determines whether or not to permit the processing request.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
