PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise an upper leader over a lower leader in a state in which tension of a chain is kept proper without operating a tension cylinder.SOLUTION: A hydraulic driving device 60 for a pile driver is provided with: a hydraulic pump 61; a pump cylinder line 65 which connects a discharge line 61a of the hydraulic pump 61 to a tension cylinder 33; a control valve 62 provided to the pump cylinder line 65; a relief valve 63 prescribing maximum pressure of the discharge line 61a at set circuit protection pressure P0; and a driving pressure setting device 64 which sets pressure of pressure oil, supplied to a bottom-side oil chamber of the tension cylinder 33, below set pressure P1 lower than the circuit protection pressure P0 so that elongation force of the tension cylinder 33 is smaller than shrinking force operating on the tension cylinder 33 from a chain 30 as an upper leader 14b is raised.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】テンションシリンダを操作することなくチェーンのテンションを適度に保った状態で下部リーダに対して上部リーダを起伏させる。【解決手段】杭打機の油圧駆動装置６０は、油圧ポンプ６１と、油圧ポンプ６１の吐出ライン６１ａをテンションシリンダ３３に接続するポンプシリンダライン６５と、ポンプシリンダライン６５に設けたコントロールバルブ６２と、吐出ライン６１ａの最大圧力を設定の回路保護圧Ｐ０に規定するリリーフ弁６３と、上部リーダ１４ｂの倒伏動作に伴ってチェーン３０からテンションシリンダ３３に作用する収縮力よりもテンションシリンダ３３の伸長力が小さくなるように、テンションシリンダ３３のボトム側油室に供給される圧油の圧力を回路保護圧Ｐ０よりも低い設定圧力Ｐ１以下に設定する駆動圧力設定装置６４を設ける。【選択図】 図６
