PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary member for an exterior wall material that supports an exterior wall material from below so as to allow positioning when installing the exterior wall material and prevents water accumulating in the auxiliary member for an exterior wall material from being absorbed by the exterior wall material, along with an installation structure for an exterior wall material that includes the auxiliary member for an exterior wall material.SOLUTION: An auxiliary member for an exterior wall material is fitted on a wall substrate 2 and supports an exterior wall material 3 from below so as to allow positioning, when installing the exterior wall material 3. An auxiliary member 1 includes a fixing part 10 fixed on the wall substrate 2, a bottom part 11 protruding toward an outdoor side from a bottom edge of the fixing part 10, and a protruded part 12 protruding upward from an edge part on the outdoor side of the bottom part 11. A top edge 19 of the protruded part 12 comes in a line-contact with a bottom edge surface of the exterior wall material 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】外壁材を施工する際に外壁材を下方から位置決め可能に支持する外壁材用補助部材であって、当該外壁材用補助部材に溜まる水が当該外壁材に吸収されるのを防止することが可能な外壁材用補助部材、およびこれを備えた外壁材の施工構造を提供する。【解決手段】壁下地２に取り付けられて、外壁材３を施工する際に外壁材３を下方から位置決め可能に支持する外壁材用補助部材である。補助部材１は、壁下地２に固定される固定部１０と、固定部１０の下端部から屋外側に向かって突出した底部１１と、底部１１の屋外側端部から上方に向かって突出した突出部１２とを備える。突出部１２は、上縁１９が外壁材３の下端面に線接触するように構成される。【選択図】図１
