PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional bunk bed enhancing a sense of independence of a child and having safety such as fall prevention, and stability capable of preventing vibration and collapse.SOLUTION: A functional bunk bed 10 is configured by assembling two beds each including at least a rectangular bottom member 1, and respective wall members 2 enclosing four sides thereof, on the top and the bottom thereof. Each of the top/bottom of the bunk bed is configured to secure a private space for a child. An entrance 3 of the top of the bunk bed is connected to a lifting/lowering member 5 that has a horizontal base 4 with a prescribed width.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
