PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device which reliably enables an incorrect unlocking operation and which can be stably operated even use thereof over a long period of time.SOLUTION: A steering lock device has: a cam member 2 connected to a plug 1 which can be rotationally operated between lock and unlock rotational positions; a cam follower body 4 which is energized to a lock position side following a cam surface of the cam member 2; a lock bar 5 which is connected to the cam follower body 4, and is engaged with and disengaged from a steering shaft; and an engaging body which is engaged with the cam follower body 4 and is held at an unlock position, and disengaged from the cam follower body 4 in association with extraction of an unlock key from the plug 1. A stopper pin 8, which is energized in a projection direction, is mounted on the cam follower body 4, and a stopper projection 12 comprising a vertical wall 10, which regulates movement of the stopper pin 8 to the unlock position side, and an inclined wall 11, which permits movement of the stopper pin from the unlock position to the lock position side, are so provided on a pin corresponding surface as to be projected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】不正解錠操作を確実にすることが可能で、かつ、長期の使用に際しても安定的に動作するステアリングロック装置の提供。【解決手段】施解錠回転位置間を回転操作可能なプラグ1に連結されるカム部材2と、カム部材2のカム面に従動してロック位置側に付勢されたカムフォロア体4と、カムフォロア体4に連結されてステアリングシャフトに係脱するロックバー5と、カムフォロア体4に係止してアンロック位置に保持し、プラグ1からの解錠キーの抜去に伴ってカムフォロア体4との係止を解除する係止体とを有し、前記カムフォロア体4には、突出方向に付勢されるストッパピン8が装着され、ピン対応面には、該ストッパピン8のアンロック位置側への移動を規制する垂直壁10と、アンロック位置からロック位置側への移動を許容する傾斜壁11とを備えたストッパ突起12が突設される。【選択図】図6
