PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass block that insulates heat well and is less likely to break.SOLUTION: A glass block 1 has a pair of molded glass body of a bottomed and coverless box shape fused and integrated with each other at open edge parts, with a cavity 7 inside. The glass block 1 includes a first main wall part 2 having a first translucent part 5, and a second main wall part 3 opposite the first main wall part 2 with the cavity 7 in between, and having a second translucent part 6. At least either of the first or the second translucent parts 5, 6 has a flat outer surface 5a and/or 6a, a recess 5c and/or 6c formed by curving an inner surface 5b and/or 6b toward the outer surface 5a and/or 6a, and a thickness of the translucent part 5 and/or 6 being tapered from an outer peripheral edge part 5d and/or 6d of the recess 5c and/or 6c toward a central part 5e and/or 6e of the recess 5c and/or 6c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
