INSIDE HANDLE FOR VEHICLE DOOR
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inside handle for a vehicle door, which can effectively prevent cracking of metal plating on a vehicle exterior design surface and a vehicle interior design surface due to higher temperature of an inside handle without thickening the metal plating.SOLUTION: An inside handle for a vehicle door comprises: a resin handle body 16; a plating 17 that covers the surface of the handle body; a vehicle interior design surface 24 and a vehicle exterior design surface 25; a recess 28 which is formed on a recess forming surface 23 constituting either an upper face or a lower face of the inside handle and positioned between a rotation center of the handle body and a tip of the inside handle; and a reinforcing rib 34 which is disposed in the recess, extends in a direction connecting the vehicle interior design surface and the vehicle exterior design surface and has both end parts connected to an inner face of the recess.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
