PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension device which has as simple structure as possible and which can equally introduce a tensioning force into a tension-direction end of a membrane material.SOLUTION: A tension device provided for the present problem to be solved includes at least two sets of grip rods 2 and 3 for being used as the set of two grip rods arranged in parallel with each other. Tension-direction ends of a membrane material M are wound and gripped by the grip rods 2 and 3, respectively. Each of the two sets of grip rods 2 and 3 gripping the ends of the membrane material is pulled in the tension direction to introduce a tensioning force into the membrane material M. 【課題】膜材における緊張方向の端部に対し均等に緊張力を導入することの可能な、できるだけ簡単な構造の緊張装置を提案する。【解決手段】当課題に対して提案する緊張装置は、互いに平行に配置した２本を１組として使用する把持棒２，３を少なくとも２組含み、該把持棒２，３により、膜材Ｍにおける緊張方向の端部をそれぞれ巻き込んで把持し、これら膜材端部を把持した２組の把持棒２，３をそれぞれ緊張方向へ引っ張ることで緊張力を膜材Ｍへ導入する仕組みとする。【選択図】図１
