GLASS FLUX FOR OVERGLAZE COLORANT AND OVERGLAZE COLORANT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass flux for overglaze colorant in which a color can be developed without impairing the color of pigment and yet a chemical resistance can be provided.SOLUTION: Provided are: a glass flux for overglaze colorant containing SiO; 53 to 68 mol%, BO; 9 to 16 mol%, AlO; 9 to 12 mol%, RO; 12 to 15 mol%, CaO 0 to 0.3 mol%, MgO; 0 to 0.3 mol%, and ZrO; 0.2 to 1.5 mol%, as well as containing ZnO by not more than 0.3 mol%, thereby a color development without impairing the color of pigment can be obtained and the acid resistance, alkali resistance, water resistance and detergent resistance are high; an overglaze colorant obtained by mixing red iron oxide as a pigment in a range of 4 to 12 wt.% into said glass flux.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
