PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently collect and efficiently transmit solar heat to roof sheet metal by heat conduction by air.SOLUTION: A roof snow melting device 100 is applied to a folded-plate roof having a structure suitable for forming a space of extending in the inclined direction under roof sheet metal. A snow stopper 104 includes a flat long plate, and is fixed to the upper surface outside of a projection part of a folded-plate by an installing metal fitting 104A so that the inclined direction of the folded-plate roof is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the plate. A heat transfer space 111 is formed by using the projection part of the folded-plate. The heat transfer space 111 is a space which extends in the inclined direction and in which a heat insulation material 106 is arranged on a bottom surface, and both end parts of the heat transfer space 111 are blocked by a partition member (a solar heat collection plate 102A and a partition heat insulation surface door 105). The heat transfer space 111 transmits solar heat collected by a projection part side surface of the folded-plate on the lower side of the snow stopper 104 to the roof sheet metal on the upper side of the snow stopper 104 by the air. The solar heat transmitted to the roof sheet metal on the upper side of the snow stopper 104, melts accumulated snow 108 on the upper side of the snow stopper 104.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
