HIGH FLEXURAL TOUGHNESS PC PILE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high flexural toughness PC pile capable of relieving a local elongation of a vertical reinforcement, and excellent in high flexural toughness.SOLUTION: In a high flexural toughness PC pile 1, a plurality of vertical reinforcements 3, 3,... composed of a PC steel material of 2% or more in a uniform elongation, are buried in a concrete body 2, and an annular or spiral horizontal restraining reinforcement 4 is placed on the outside of the vertical reinforcements 3, 3,..., and the vertical reinforcements 3, 3,... are stuck to the concrete body 2 in sticking strength equal to or less than tensile stress intensity of generating a crack in the concrete body 2, and a plurality of crack induction members 5, 5,... are buried at an interval in the circumferential direction in the concrete body 2, and when large external force acts in the flexural direction, the vertical reinforcements 3, 3,... extend while mutually sliding in the axial direction with the concrete body 2, and a plurality of cracks 8, 8,... are also caused in the concrete body 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
