CONNECTION QUALITY CONFIRMATION STRUCTURE FOR STANDPIPE ON FIRE HYDRANT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection quality confirmation structure for a standpipe on a fire hydrant that enables the connection quality to be confirmed objectively at hand by a worker, as to whether an engaging claw linked with an operation lever has been engaged securely with a mouth piece.SOLUTION: A connection quality confirmation structure for a standpipe is for a standpipe structure that includes: right and left holding levers and an initial motion band-shaped ring linked at right and left edge parts by right and left connection rods; a stopper pin hanging from an undersurface of the initial motion band-shaped ring, the stopper pin allowing a vertical motion band-shaped ring to be inserted; and a tapered top hanging from an undersurface of the vertical motion band-shaped ring, the tapered top being interposed between a plurality of engaging claws of a coupling mechanism and expanding/contracting a diameter of the engaging claw along with ascension/descension of the vertical motion band-shaped ring. A marker pin is erected on a top surface of right and left operation levers. A top end of the marker pin is inserted so as to make and the marker pin appear and disappear on a top surface of the right and left holding levers. A function to display malfunctioning of the coupling mechanism is provided at the top end of the marker pin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】操作レバーに連動連設した係合爪が口金と確実に係合しているか否かの接続良否判定を作業者の手元で客観的に確認できるようにした消火栓に対するスタンドパイプの接続良否確認構造を提供する。【解決手段】スタンドパイプの接続良否確認構造は、左右把持レバーと初動帯状リングの左右端部とを左右連結ロッドにより連動連設し、初動帯状リング下面に縦動帯状リングを挿貫自在としたストッパーピンを垂設し、縦動帯状リング下面にテーパーコマを垂設し、テーパーコマはカップリング機構の複数個の係合爪間に介在して縦動帯状リングによる昇降作動により係合爪を縮径および拡径作動するように構成したスタンドパイプ構造において、左右操作レバーの上面にマーカーピンを立設し、マーカーピンの上端は左右把持レバー上面に出没自在となるように挿貫してマーカーピン上端にカップリング機構の機能不全を表示する機能を持たせた。【選択図】図1
