PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base for a buried valve, which enables the buried valve for a fire hydrant and the like to be easily installed in a short period of time.SOLUTION: A base for a buried valve, which is used when the buried valve buried under the ground is connected to a buried conduit, includes a base body 1 that is loaded on a foundation constructed under a construction road surface, and a cylindrical pit loading base that is loaded on the base body 1. The base body 1 comprises a plurality of base pieces 2. Groove parts are formed in an opposed shape on a peripheral wall of the pit loading base 2.
