PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method of a sewage pipe and a communication pipe used therefor, capable of cleaning the sewage pipe of arranging a plurality of manholes in a midway position.SOLUTION: A cleaning method of a sewage pipe 14 of arranging a plurality of manholes 16, includes a communication-connection process of communicating-connecting an opening part connected to the sewage pipe 14 on the upstream side and the downstream side of the whole manholes 16 existing in a cleaning object section by using a communication pipe 10 in the manhole 16 and a cleaning medium introduction-discharge process of discharging from the downstream side via the sewage pipe 14 and the communication pipe 10 by pressurizing-introducing a sherbet-like cleaning medium 28 including an ice particle and cleaning water from the upstream side of the cleaning object section after the communication-connection process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
