PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sufficient view angle characteristics, enable omission of patterning of an electrode, and enable simple production.SOLUTION: A light control film 1, in which a liquid crystal layer 7 is interposed between first and second laminates 6 and 5 where base materials 10, 15, transparent electrodes 11, 16, and oriented films 13, 17 are laminated, vertically orients liquid crystal molecules 7A of the liquid crystal layer 7 when no electric field is applied, and horizontally orients the liquid crystal molecules 7A when an electric field is applied, thereby controlling transmitted light. The first and second laminates 6, 5 include a columnar-shaped spacer 12 including at least a vertically oriented film 13A on a peripheral side surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】充分な視野角特性を確保して、電極のパターンニングを省略することができ、かつ簡易に生産することができるようにする。【解決手段】透明フィルムによる基材10、15と、透明電極11、16と、配向膜13、17とが積層された第1及び第2の積層体6及び5により液晶層7を挟持した調光フィルム1において、無電界時、前記液晶層7の液晶分子7Aを垂直配向させ、電界印加時、液晶分子7Aを水平配向させることにより透過光を制御する。第1及び又は第2の積層体6、5は、少なくとも周側面に垂直配向膜13Aを備えた柱形状によるスペーサ12を備える。【選択図】図1
