PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more rational technique for a water purification system capable of efficiently supplying power to an ultraviolet irradiation device.SOLUTION: A water purification system 100 for obtaining service water from surface water comprises a guide portion 200 for guiding the surface water, a hydraulic power generation device 400, and a supply portion 300 for supplying the water from the guide portion 200 as service water. The supply portion 300 includes a water purification device 340 with an ultraviolet irradiation device 341, and an electric control valve 320 for controlling water supply to the water purification device 340, and the ultraviolet irradiation device 341 is driven by power generated by the hydraulic power generation device 400.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
