PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety guard for manhole work that ensures safety while working in a manhole, at the same time eliminating a need to divide a frame when inserting a hole into the manhole and preventing soiling in a surrounding area even in a case of reverse injection of water or sludge.SOLUTION: A safety guard for manhole work includes: a circular frame surrounding a manhole and having a prescribed height from a ground surface; a hose opening formed by cutting a part of the circular frame from a top surface side toward a bottom surface side, leaving a part on the bottom surface side; a cover part fitted openably on the top surface of the circular frame; and a rubber sheet fitted on the cover part and concealing the hose opening when the cover part is closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】マンホールでの作業安全性を確保すると共に、マンホール内にホースを入れる際にもフレームを分割等する必要がなく、更に、水や汚泥の逆噴射があった場合でも、周囲を汚すことのないマンホール作業用安全ガードを提供する。【解決手段】マンホールの周りを地面から所定の高さで取り囲むように構成された円形フレームと、該円形フレームの一部を、底面側の一部を残して天面側から底面側に向かって切り欠いたホース開口部と、前記円形フレームの天面に開閉可能に取り付けられた蓋部と、該蓋部に取り付けられ、前記蓋部を閉じると前記ホース開口部を覆い隠すことが可能なゴムシートと、を備えた、ことを特徴とするマンホール作業用安全ガード。【選択図】図４
