EARTHWORK MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthwork material that is an earthwork material using a residue generated after a treatment of mud containing rare earths with an acid, and that has excellent handling properties (for example, handling easiness and moldability during operations such as granulation) in the manufacturing process of the earthwork material, does not cause explosion of granulated product (earthwork material in the manufacturing process) during sintering, further has a wide sintering temperature for obtaining the earthwork material (sintered product) having favorable properties, and has easy sintering properties.SOLUTION: A particulate earthwork material obtained by sintering a granulated material formed of a mixture containing a residue generated after an acid treatment of mud containing rare earths and coal ash. A manufacturing method of the particulate earthwork material includes a mixing step for obtaining a mixture by mixing the residue and the coal ash, a step of obtaining a granulated product by granulating the mixture, and a step of obtaining an earthwork material by sintering the granulated product at 1,150-1,300°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】レアアースを含有する泥を酸で処理した後に発生する残渣を用いた土工資材であって、該土工資材の製造過程において、ハンドリング性(例えば、造粒等の作業時における取扱いの容易性および成形性)が良好であり、また、焼成中に造粒物(製造過程の土工資材)が爆裂することがなく、さらには、好ましい性状を有する土工資材(焼成物)を得るための焼成温度の幅が広いため、焼成が容易である土工資材を提供する。【解決手段】レアアースを含有する泥を酸で処理した後に発生する残渣と、石炭灰とを含む混合物からなる造粒物を焼結してなる、粒状の土工資材。粒状の土工資材の製造方法は、残渣と石炭灰を混合して、混合物を得る混合工程と、この混合物を造粒して、造粒物を得る造粒工程と、この造粒物を1,150〜1,300℃で焼結して、土工資材を得る焼結工程、を含む。【選択図】なし
