TRIM MEMBER AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD USING THE TRIM MEMBER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trim member and a construction method using the trim member, with which an edge part of a siding material can be easily fitted and secured to a wall body even when the trim is short in length.SOLUTION: A trim member 1 in the present invention comprises: a flat plate part 10; securing parts 14, which are provided protruding from a first face 10a of the flat plate part 10, and with which the flat plate part 10 is fixed to a wall body, perpendicularly stretching out from the wall; a first fixing plate 16a and a second fixing plate 16b which stretch out perpendicularly from a second face 10b of the flat plate part 10, being aligned away from the wall surface when the securing parts 14 are secured to the wall body; and a first engaging part 18a and a second engaging part 18b, which are folded back at the tip of one face of each the first fixing plate 16a and the second fixing plate 16b, protruding towards the flat plate part 10, and engage with engaging pieces formed at an edge part of a siding material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
