PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain trap capable of preventing waste water drained from a washing machine from flowing backward from a flow passage for draining the waste water leaked from the washing machine.SOLUTION: A drain trap comprises a bowl 101 having a storage part for draining waste water to the outside while storing the waste water drained from a washing machine, a flow passage cylinder 102 for draining the waste water toward the storage part from the washing machine, a seal water cylinder 103 arranged on the outside in the radial direction of the flow passage cylinder and draining the waste water leaked from the washing machine toward the storage part from between the flow passage cylinder and itself and a valve member 104 for opening-closing an area R between the flow passage cylinder and the seal water cylinder, and the valve member comprises an opening-closing part 104P for freely opening-closing the area by moving so as to approach-separate to the area and a deformation part 104Q connected to the opening-closing part and guiding the movement of the opening-closing part while being deformed by being driven by the opening-closing part for moving by water pressure from drain water drained to the bowl from the flow passage cylinder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
