EARTH RETAINING STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING EARTH RETAINING STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth retaining structure which uses thinning so as to be friendly to nature, accelerates greening because of planting of vegetation and which eliminates the need for repair and maintenance inspection after construction; and a method for constructing the earth retaining structure.SOLUTION: An earth retaining structure is formed by assembling a plurality of vertically placed wooden members 2 and a plurality of laterally placed wooden members 3 to each other, and each of the laterally placed wooden members 3 is provided with an open hole 31 extending from the side opposite to a slope face 101 to the side of the slope face 101, and a cylindrical member 5 is mounted in the open hole 31, and a plant 6 with roots and leaves is housed in the cylindrical member 5. The cylindrical member 5 is formed by assembling un upper constitution member and a lower constitution member to each other, and by projecting an end of the lower constitution member on the side opposite to the slope face 101 more than an end of the upper constitution member on the side opposite to the slope face 101, a water receiver part is formed in the end of the lower constitution member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】間伐材を利用できるので自然にやさしく、草木を植えるので緑化促進を図ることができ、構築した後は改修や保守点検が不要である土留め用構造物及びこの土留め用構造物の構築方法を提供する。【解決手段】土留め用構造物は、複数の木製の縦置き部材2と複数の木製の横置き部材3とを組み付けてなり、横置き部材3の各々に、法面101とは反対側から法面101側に向けて延びる貫通孔31が設けられ、貫通孔31に筒状部材5が装着され、筒状部材5に根葉を有する植物6が収納されている。筒状部材5は、上方構成部材と下方構成部材とを組み合わせて成り、下方構成部材の法面101に対し反対側の端部を上方構成部材の法面101に対し反対側の端部よりも突出させることで、下方構成部材の端部に水受け部が形成されている。【選択図】図2
