A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency potable water storage pipe that can secure an installation location easily while securing necessary minimum fresh potable water.SOLUTION: An emergency potable water storage pipe 1 comprises a tubular storage pipe 2 installed in a floor slab 41 of a ceiling space in a building 40, an intake part 3 installed in a cap 2h of the storage pipe 2 and for taking service water W into the storage pipe 2, a plurality of current plates 5 installed inside the storage pipe 2 and for forming a zigzag water flowing passage RW, a water supply part 4 installed in a cap 2i of the storage pipe 2 and for supplying service water W stored inside the storage pipe 2 to the outside, a non-return valve 6 installed in the intake part 3 and for preventing service water W stored inside the storage pipe 2 from flowing out to the outside, and a vacuum breaker 7 installed in the cap 2h of the storage pipe 2 and for taking the outside air for relieving negative pressure inside the storage pipe 2 into the inside of the storage pipe 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
