UNBURNED HIGH ALUMINA BRICK CONTAINING SILICON CARBIDE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide unburned high alumina brick containing silicon carbide, which has excellent corrosion resistance against slag and shows little embrittlement by oxidation.SOLUTION: The unburned high alumina brick containing silicon carbide comprises, relative to the whole components of the brick, 70 mass% of an A10component, 5 to 15 mass% of a SiC, silicon carbide, component, and 0.5 to 4 mass% of a P0component which is contained in aluminum phosphate used as a binder. Further, a carbon-based raw material such as scale-like graphite, amorphous graphite, or pitch is not used. The unburned high alumina brick containing silicon carbide has excellent corrosion resistance against slag and shows little embrittlement by oxidation. Thus, it can be used for a long period under high temperature, and has excellent characteristics as unburned brick exposed even to slag.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】スラグに対して優れた耐食性と共に酸化による脆化が少ない不焼成炭化珪素含有ハイアルミナ質れんがを提供する。【解決手段】この不焼成炭化珪素含有ハイアルミナ質れんがは、A1203成分を70質量%、炭化珪素であるSiC成分を5〜15質量%、バインダーとして用いるリン酸アルミニウムに含まれるP205成分がれんが成分中の0.5〜4質量%となることを特徴としており、また、鱗状黒鉛や無定形黒鉛、ピッチといったカーボン系原料は使用しない。この不焼成炭化珪素含有ハイアルミナ質れんがはスラグに対する高い耐食性と酸化による脆化が少なく、高温下で長時間使用され、且つ、スラグにもさらされる不焼成れんがとして優れた特質を持つ。【選択図】なし
