PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paraffin-based composition which is excellent in not only a latent heat amount during phase transition, shape retention properties at a use temperature and bleed-out resistance of paraffin in but also flowability at a working temperature, and is excellent in balance of characteristics.SOLUTION: There are provided a paraffin-based composition which contains a paraffin compound (A) and an olefinic block copolymer (B) having a hard segment and a soft segment, where a mass average molecular weight (Mw) of the olefinic block copolymer (B) is 150,000 or more; and a heat storage material using the paraffin-based composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】相転移時の潜熱量、使用温度での形状保持性、及びパラフィンの耐ブリードアウト性に優れるだけでなく、更に加工温度における流動性にも優れ、特性バランスに優れたパラフィン系組成物を提供する。【解決手段】パラフィン化合物(A)と、ハードセグメント及びソフトセグメントを有するオレフィン系ブロック共重合体(B)とを含み、該オレフィン系ブロック共重合体(B)の質量平均分子量(Mw)が150,000以上であることを特徴とするパラフィン系組成物。このパラフィン系組成物を用いた蓄熱材。【選択図】なし
